Catalog Management
General summary
The Catalog service API is the business service which aggregates information received from the zone’s ERP to return a list of saleable products available for a POC. The main information used by it comes from the Account, Items (SKUs), Inventory, Product Assortment, Prices and Category microservices. After receiving this information from zone’s ERP, it should be configured and categorized by the zone’s team through a front-end administration tool. Then the products will be ready to be sold.
Catalog requirements
The requirements to a product be shown in the POC’s Catalog through BEES front-end interfaces are:
Service
Description
Account
The POC must have an account registered in BEES platform.
Items
The product must be sent by the ERP through items relay and be enabled, as well returning in Items API Microservice.
Price
The product must have a valid price data record in price engine for the account and be greater than zero.
Inventory
Inventory information must exist in the inventory service (made by Delivery Center), with stock greater than or equal zero.
Product Assortment
The product must exist in product assortment Inclusion database and have no record on product assortment Exclusion database for the POC account.
