As it was mentioned in the beginning of this document, most frequently all orders are created within BEES. However, there are some cases in which is necessary to create orders that were transitioned outside BEES from other platforms.
For these cases, it is necessary to create orders using the POST endpoint.
Use case: Orders with only redeemable items:
Ensure that the order is not created with a
status of
PENDING;
Set the parentOrderNumber of
the new order to the original
orderNumber;
Include the field
vendor.orderNumber in the
payload;
Set all fields within the
order.summary to zero.
