1.1 Identifiers

Within Items MS, there are some fields referred to as identifiers of a product. These fields are the [sku] which is the identifier of the product, the [brandId] which is a code used by partners to identify the brand of the product and the [sourceData.vendorItemId] is the unique identifier of the product from the partner system.

The [sku] and the [sourceData.vendorItemId] can have the same value, and most partners uses it with the same value, however, if for a given product there are a unique sku and a variation, the vendorItemId can be different than the sku to discriminate the variation of the product.

It is also important to note, that even though the [brandId] is an identifier, this field it not displayed on the BEES Application and is used for an internal management of the products by the partner.
