Definition:
The status of an account determines if a given POC is able to purchase products with no restriction [Active], view products and restricting it from purchasing products [Blocked], or remove the access entirely for a specific POC, restricting it from viewing products and consequently not being able to purchase products [Inactive].
When to use each status will vary based on the demands and scenarios of a specific partner, however, some scenarios that are used are described below.
Scenario 1 - POC is behind payment:
In this scenario, let's assume the partners opts to give POCs a specific amount of credit, so they can place orders and pay in terms;
One specific POC consumes every credit that they had in BEES, and did not pay the required amount in time;
In that scenario, the partner sets the POC as blocked, and when the POC tries to place an order with a payment method that utilizes credit it, the POC wont be able to (which is the first image above);
Once the POC pays the amount due, the partner is able to set the status as active, making it able to purchase products normally.
Scenario 2 - POC is out-of-business:
An active POC decides to sell everything and close their establishment;
This POC contacts the sales representative and mentions that they will be closing out their doors;
Therefore, given that the POC is not operational any longer the partner set the status as inactive (second screen stated above).
